It went fantastic. We own a 2 family and we decided to reno our rental bathroom, our only bathroom, and add another bathroom on our 3rd floor. So this project was done in stages so that we could live in one of the units while the other one was being worked on. Dave and his crew came in at the start of March, the redid the rental unit's bath in the time frame he said, even though there were a few delays because we had a few heavy snow storms. Dave really listened to our concerns about the work we were doing for the rental, and we stayed within a reasonable amount of the budget, considering there were unforeseen issues. Once the bottom unit's work was complete, we moved down below and Dave and crew moved upstairs to reno our bathroom, add another bath, reconfigure our 3rd floor, and a ton of other works that goes along with sajob of that size. Not a huge job perhaps, but a decent job for sure. Dave again finished on time, and again within a reasonable budget. We had a lot of add ons to the job, as well as unforeseen issues. So overage was not a surprise at all. I really can't say enough about how awesome it was working with Dave and crew. They were true professionals, not only in the constructions business, but in business overall. They are easy to work with, roll with changes, advice when needed, and in general all around great guys, who know their craft. Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling: David provided an estimated for a full remodel of our kitchen and main bathroom. The remodel was scheduled to take about 6 weeks. Once the project started and we noticed a few other items that we wanted to tackle while the home was in the construction phase. David and his Brother were great at accommodating our additional requests. They also brought a few items to our attention to see if we wanted to add that while the walls where open. Overall the price was good, they are very responsive, very professional, very honest and open. Our remodel took about 3-4 weeks longer than expected but that was due changes in our plans and additional requests (replaced flooring in the whole 1st floor, replaced a sliding outside door, re-drywalled ceiling and walls in a room, city plumber inspector requested to move a vent pipe, and updated whole electrical panel, and lighting on the 1st floor. Thanks for all the hard work we love the new kitchen and bathroom and the fact that we have a whole new first floor.

Bathroom Remodeling: We had a small bathroom in terrible condition in an old house. David responded quickly to our initial queries and provided a competitive estimate. We had to have the bathroom gutted and the window, floor, walls, ceiling and all fixtures replaced and a ceiling fan installed. We were very happy we chose to work with David, he was friendly and happy to explain everything, and responded positively to our requests. Either he or his subcontractors came every day until the job was finished (which was important to us because it was our only full bathroom!). He cleaned up every day, and took care of all of the demolition and construction debris. Cost wise, we paid for the fixtures and tile, all the rough material and lumber and trash removal we covered as part of the job. Speaking of subcontractors, we were also very happy with the subcontractors David brought in for plumbing and electrical. They did their work efficiently and were likewise friendly and nice to deal with. We had been led to believe that inspections could be a headache, but David and the subcontractors dealt with the inspections promptly and with no issues at all. The results are beautiful. The tile work on the floor and the walls around the tub is immaculate. The walls and ceiling are smooth, and he did wonderful trim work, including some extra around an in-wall radiator. We have a window in the shower and he replaced it with exactly what we asked for, and tiled it in perfectly. Everything is beautiful (we no joke that it's the nicest room in the house) and we could not possibly have asked for better results. We will certainly go to David for any other work we need done on the house, no hesitation.

​Front and Back Deck replace. David went above and beyond and took it upon himself to paint existing support brackets white before reattaching, used deck screw plugs to hide screw holes (instead of using the clips which have a tendency of failing) ... this requires boring out every screw hole to fit the plugs and was David’s idea. Clean, professional, responsive, on time, respectful, honest etc ... very talented and fully trustworthy carpenter

Kitchen Remodeling and Master Bathroom Addition: D. Flores Construction was highly recommended to us by friends and they came as advertised. We ended up doing a rather extensive renovation in our kitchen and added on a room for a master bathroom and closet. Dave was incredibly helpful every step of the way. He and the crew had great insight and made really great suggestions. We were very happy that Dave and Josh were always aware of keeping the renovations in line with the character of our 1926 house. The job was extensive and included putting two ressed beams in the ceiling in the kitchen along with bumping out on the second floor. The kitchen came out beautiful and really opened the room to the other parts of the house. Dave also does really great custom work. My wife wanted a few lockers for the side entry mudroom. She printed a picture from the internet and Dave was able to replicate it making the mud room fully functional. The addition came out great also. We are thrilled with the look of the new full bath. Our neighbors have commented how the addition looks like it was original to the house. We definitely feel very fortunate to have had such a great experience renovating. Dave's crew showed up EVERY day for the entirety of the job. They were very easy to work with and gave great suggestions and listened to our concerns. D.
